In Savonlinna the old town public library building was upon a quite arupt hill quite in the center of the town. The new one is much bigger, seems to be on a flat ground and several blocks to the west. The old library building is still unused. The hill is called Nälkälinnanmäki "hunger castle's hill" which first brings an uneasy feeling: now will foreigners be angry and unwise, then one thinks of the old times and of wisdom of life, how it makes one need less but healthy kind of food, and how the wise can via their wisdom rise to even higher skills and happy healthy life, in which the library books can help.
But it made me think, how high would these Christmas elves skills advices belong? I do not understand such, but the term rising high seemed to be "tonttutaito" i.e. "Christmas gnomes / elves skills" but I do not know which skills exactly, see LearnTalents.BlogSpot.com . I tried asking about such estimates from a Facebook group connected with Himalaya. Finland is mostly flat, almost sea level, no mountains at all, so we do not kniw these things.
